Hon.Olawale Rauf Sulaiman presently returned as,member Lagos State House of Assembly after his first inauguration in May 2019.

He was once the Chairman House Committee on Legislative Compliance and also the Chairman House Committee on Public Procurement,his people and project based leadership style has made him a toast of his constituents,his due diligence and dutiful representation of his constituents at the chambers is unparalleled.

Hon.Rauf studied Political Science at the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo.

In addition, he holds both Certificate and Professional Diploma in Public Relations as well as Msc in International Relations from the University of Abuja and also a Masters in Legislative Studies from University of Benin with PhD in International Relations in-view.

His people and project based leadership style has made him a toast of his constituents and as a matter of fact his unequivocal love for his constituents, demonstrated by his apt representation at the chambers is visible in the barrage of projects he has facilitated,so numerous and amongst them is the on-going and almost completed dualization of Mumin Adio Badmus Road Ijegun Egba Satellite town,the reconstruction of Alakija Navy-town road and the upgrading of Old Ojo Road are all under reconstruction.

He has equally enrolled over 200 students for different skills acquisition at the Lagos State skills acquisition center Ilashe.

Furthermore,he has facilitated the construction of perimeter fences and renovation of some primary and secondary schools within the constituency,among them are: L.A pry school Ibassa, Salvation Army pry school Ikaare, Ijegun Egba and Satellite Nur & Pry school Ijegun satellite town,Central Pry school kirikiri town, Agboju grammar school Agboju Amuwo and Unity Grammar School.

Again Hon Age-Sulaiman has secured employment for constituents irrespective of affinity in different Lagos State Government Establishments.

Hon Olawale Rauf is passionate about issues concerning youths, Education, aged, women and men in fact mankind and demonstrates his weightily in his infrastructural projects and palliative initiatives.

He distributed Solar panelled Street Lights across his constituency, sponsored medical outreaches that catered for 400 persons in Igbologun Island and environs ,also he paid off the surgery for 96 patients that were operated upon for Appendicitis, Aeania and Fibroid.

What about ,the borehole he installed at Karimu Street by Lion bus -stop ,Agboju.

The list goes on,this is one man whose commitment to service and impact making is a breath of fresh air.

Little wonder,it was indeed a grand home coming in Amuwo-Odofin Constituency (ii) as the Election Petition Tribunal declared Mr less talk and more work,Hon. Rauf Olawale Sulaiman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo-Odofin Constituency (ii )election held on March 18, 2023.

A man with impeccable Character,high-flying leader with distinction whose track records and contribution to grassroot development is colossus.

The tribunal court sitting at the Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), while delivering judgment, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to present Sulaiman with the certificate of return as the winner of the election.

As the court held that the Electoral Act 2022 does not allow a candidate to be declared winner if the candidate did not fully participate in the election process ,upholding that the Labour Party candidate (LP), Olukayode Doherty, that was issued certificate by the INEC did not appear on the ballot, noting that Tunde Fashina, who appeared on the ballot and got the majority of votes, was not qualified to contest,thereby declaring the presentation of Certificate to Doherty by INEC null and void.
