Hon .George Adegeye Olawande ,(the Rising Sun) the Representative Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency,a leader so abreast with civil responsibility and seasoned in corporate governance, his burden and passion to give his constituents quality service and proper representation, made him hit the ground running since he assumed office in June 2023.
GAO is a philantropist who believes so much in grassroot development and as a result has been using his programs and initiatives to empower his constituents. Recently, about Eighty (80) widows within the age bracket of 60 years and 80 years were hosted to a special ceremony where they are treated to a special banquet.
At the end of the ceremony they were financially supported with their upkeep.
In the same vein he supported the ADESOBA community with the sum of five hundred thousand naira (500,000naira) to replace their community transformer.
Hon . George Adegeye Olawande ‘s passion for education is second to none as he believes that education is the tool that shapes the leader and the society and he demonstrated it with the sum of Five Million Naira paid to enroll about 4000 pupils and students for summer coaching in seven different Private Schools within Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency.
He didn’t stop here,he went ahead to facilitate Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) to organize Entrepreneurship Development training which had about 60 youths trained in various vocational skills, for free and supported the Ansar Ud Deen Kuje Amuwo Branch with the sum of One million Naira(1,000,000) to build their ultra modern mosque.
So much initiatives and projects on going because of his heart to seeing the standard of living of his constituents improve.
He will be honoured as one of the special recipients of the prestigious and merit IMPACT MAKERS AWARD, for his outstanding impact in culture shapening and contribution to Societal developments, come Sunday, December 3,2023, 9am,live at KABIO’OSI FESTIVAL powered by PLUS CARRIERS INT’L MINISTRY.
